Botox
When injected, Botox relaxes muscles, preventing skin from creasing and causing wrinkles. It takes about 5-10 days before the result is visible and it lasts between 3-5 months (varies individually).
Forehead wrinkles
The major cause for forehead wrinkles is the activity of the frontalis muscle which elevates the eyebrows, and therefore causes wrinkles across the forehead.
Glabella
Your “glabella” is the skin on your forehead, between your eyebrows and above your nose. Also known as frown lines.
Jawline slimming
Jawline slimming or bruxism (teeth grinding) can easily be treated with Botox. Botox is injected into the chewing muscle called Masseter. This will cause the muscle to be less active, which leads to a smaller muscle mass and therefore the face shape becomes less square and more oval shaped. The slimming effect is seen at week 6 and lasts up to 1,5 year.
Crows feet
Crow's feet are wrinkles etched in the corner of the eye. Unlike wrinkles or expression lines on other areas of the face, crow's feet can appear to look deeper or more pronounced on the skin .
Nose lift
Botox is in this case used (off label) to relax the fibres of a specific muscle called Depressor Nasii Septii - to give you a perkier nose, for 4 to 6 months. Lifts the tip of the nose.
Eyebrow lift
Lifts the brows, less heavier eyelids. Natural result as the effect is quite discreet. when we do a Botox brow lift, we put the Botox in the muscles that pull the eyebrows down. That lets the upward-pulling muscles do their job unopposed.
Hyperhidrosis - Underarm sweating
Abnormally excessive sweating that's not necessarily related to heat or exercise. You may sweat so much that it soaks through your clothes.
Botox has been shown to result in an 82-87% decrease in sweating. Results start to be noticeable approximately 2 to 4 days after treatment with the full effects usually noted within 2 weeks. Dryness typically lasts 4 to 12 months, but some studies have found it can last as long as 14 months.
Bunny lines
Bunny lines are the fine wrinkles that appear when you scrunch up your nose, such as when you laugh or smile deeply.
Dermal fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is found naturally through out the body. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. Effects of HA is seen immediately and lasts from 6 months up to 1 year.
Lip augmentation
Adds natural volume and gives definition to the lip borders.
Jaw contouring
